Is there any actual way to prove that JT Leroy (http://books.guardian.co.uk/news/articles/0,6109,1677577,00.html) is not [livejournal.com profile] hiperbunny?

She could be wearing heels.

Are you SURE (http://sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?f=/c/a/2006/01/10/MNGBHGL0E81.DTL)?

Over the years, I saw a fairly sizable quantity of LeRoy's raw copy, and subsequently went through it, line by line, missing comma by missing comma, on the phone with him. "Harold's End," which was published in 2003, was the last piece I worked on with him. He takes a lot of work, not because he isn't gifted or because he isn't a good writer, but because he couldn't punctuate to save his life. The only reason his spelling isn't worse than it is is because some of the errors are flagged by Microsoft Word.
