the sun is shining, the eaves are dripping, and the main street is pretty clear -- it's a four-lane divided road, and there's a one-lane strip of clearness down the middle of each side, with the snow shoved over onto the median (on one side) and the cars parked along the curb (on the other). i can see a guy standing next to his car and talking on his cell phone, presumably calling someone to help him dig out. my car is still where i left it; the street i have to turn onto to get to my parking lot hasn't been plowed at all, and neither has the lot itself or the driveway up to it. hope they get to that before the car is stuck in a block of ice. haircut has been rescheduled for wednesday; the university will almost certainly be open tomorrow, but morphology professor is stuck in chicago or somewhere and can't get back here, so that class is cancelled. 9:30 class will likely meet, but i don't work on tuesdays, so i can come home and go back to bed. yay! :-)
