Yeah. That's news, all right. Penetrating reportage from the nation's newspaper.
This morning I woke up and opened my eyes and saw ... nothing. Usually, when I don't have my contacts in, I can see shapes, but this was just a pale featureless haze. I rubbed my eyes, thinking, wow, must be more dependent on my contacts than I thought -- and continued to see a pale featureless haze.
Which was the point at which I realized I was looking at the wall.
