Okay, it has been maybe two minutes of the TiFaux playback of Studio 60, and already, I'm going Eee!  Eee!  Judd Hirsch!  Timothy Busfield!  FELICITY HUFFMAN AS HERSELF!  This kid in the tie doesn't look as much like Joaquin Phoenix as he thinks.

Aaron Sorkin says Saturday Night Live isn't funny anymore.  He's maybe fifteen years late to that party, but whatever.

Okay, and smash to what will one day be the titles, and now I say:  I'll tell you what, there has never been a role in which I didn't adore Timothy Busfield.

I am definitely in the camp who rolls their eyes at Sorkin's apparent belief that at some point in time television was more edgy and less cruddy than it has been in the last several years. Sure, there were your "All In The Family," your "MASH," your "Hill Street Blues" (now there is "The Wire," "Battlestar Galactica," your favorite here), but there were also the fucking Osmonds.
