sanj, watching Sense & Sensibility and sorting all the characters into Hogwarts houses. Elinor and Edward are Hufflepuff prefects; Marianne and Willoughby are Gryffindor down to the bone, and so is Brandon; Lucy Steele and Mrs. John Dashwood are both Slytherin; Mr. Palmer would like to be Slytherin but is in fact Ravenclaw, much like his great-great-great-grandson Dr. House (because Hugh Laurie's Mr. Palmer is totally the proto-House); etc., etc. Hee. (Oh, but, note to Emma Thompson: Willoughby was never in danger of losing Combe Magna to his debtors, now, was he. You can't lose things to your debtors. In danger of losing it to his creditors, perhaps? Sigh.)
And then a much easier drive up to chezsanj and back again, courtesy of mapquest. Huzzah.
