my spangly purple dress!
Oh! I have a new camera cable, so I can in fact show you pictures of my spangly purple dress!
Here it is (clickable thumbnails yay, and also regular size behind the cut):
Both with and without flash; as you can see, it reflects enough light that the color is much truer in the pictures without flash.
I realize, looking at especially the hanging-up pictures, that a person might say "Fox, are you sure that's a dress and not, you know, a shirt?" Yes. Yes, I am. You can see where it curves in at the waist; also, to give you a sense of scale, the sleeves there are three-quarter-length, and do in fact just about bisect my forearms. The skirt comes to three or four inches above my knees.
Such a dress deserves silver go-go boots, don't you agree? Possibly glittery silver go-go boots. But I think not glittery purple ones. [pondering]
