fox | productive weekend

Yesterday I went to a knitting store I'd been meaning to hit for a while, which closes at 5pm every day so it was Saturday or nothing. Turns out it's mostly a needlework store and also miles away (I thought it was just outside the Beltway, but it's actually about seven miles from the Beltway, which on Rt 1 is FAR), so I won't be going back, which is too bad, because the people there were very nice. And then i went and got some groceries, and also hit DSW and got exactly the shoes I was looking for (which they didn't have at the other DSW on Friday, when I had already got some v. cute shoes). Also, because I'd been to Target, I hung up some pictures in my kitchen.

And then today I returned those shoes and got other, better ones at Sears (I know, but listen, I'd looked online for the brand and found that I could get them at Sears -- it's not like I went there for the purpose of going shopping), and I returned some mounting strips at Target, and I went back to the grocery store because I'd forgotten I was within one bowl of cereal of being out of milk.

And I made progress on a scarf, and began a new hat! AND I filed my nails. I am very pleased.
