it's a shame i don't work in advertising
I can't remember who I was talking to about this recently. But you know the Viagra commercial where a bunch of guys are singing "Viva Las Vegas"?
I don't buy it. (I mean, obviously I don't buy Viagra. But.) I don't believe that a middle-aged guy, much less five or six middle-aged guys, would be so pleased to have needed Viagra in the first place that they'd get together with their buddies and sing about it, and assuming it worked for all of them, I don't believe that they'd be getting together with their buddies and singing about it instead of getting together with their wives and enjoying the fact that it worked, you know what I'm saying?
I think the makers of Viagra would have had a lot more success if they'd made a commercial with a half-dozen middle-aged women singing a song about how great the product is. Pity they didn't ask me, though, eh?

As a side note, I know some middle-aged, and even young, men who don't need Viagra but use it anyway. They think it makes them more impressive to women.

You are assuming that it was a circle of straight guys. ;-)
