wtf, yahoo messenger?

So for a while now, there have been no red dots in my Trillian buddy list.  It has shown me that all my yahoo!messenger contacts are offline or invisible at all times (except me).  I finally decided that couldn't be right, so I installed Y!M in the hope that then I could force the list to appear over at Trillian.  But now everyone appears offline at Y!M as well.  Which can't possibly be the case.  What's going on with Yahoo?

That's weird, I can see my Y!M contacts (on Pidgin). Um. Hmm, I have no idea. Sorry.

Oh! Actually I remember last week, that happened to me. I think. But I might have dreamed it. It sounds sort of familiar, where it showed everyone as offline even though I knew they weren't. But that doesn't help you at all.

Check the cerulean website as they often post updates for trillian whenever yahoo blocks them.

But yahoo is not working on its own, either - it's not just through Trillian.

Sigh. I'll see if there's a patch anyway.
