stop the clock: eleven hours

I woke up this morning at 6:30 to let work know I wouldn't be in and make a doctor's appointment.  I then went back to bed until noon approx., and have been up since then.  It is now 5:11 pm.

And for the first time today, I can breathe clearly through my nose.

I am now wishing I could blow my nose, but afraid to do so for fear of the massive internal redistribution that would no doubt occur and re-block all the airways.

Gimme the antibiotics. I'll eat the yogurt. Just make it stop. WAH.
