Look, it's not that I'm not glad this thing is moving right along, but Heath Ledger or no Heath Ledger, I want my dead montage!  No shit, that's customarily one of my favorite bits, and I don't care what you think that says about me.

Dear singer-boy:  I agree that it's refreshing for the song to be too low for the singer.  You've actually demonstrated remarkable versatility in having a voice that can reach neither the low nor the high notes in the song.  But it's the Oscars, yo -- maybe think about not actually croaking like a frog, knowwhatImean?

I love that song - but partly because I love the film.

Either the gospel number or the big production number from Enchanted would have been fine. Both were better songs than any of the other three. I'm sure this was a very sweet film, and it was a very sweet song, but dude. Four notes.

ROFL. I hated the gospel number. And the "That's How You Know" split votes with the other two songs...same thing that happened to the songs from Dreamgirls a few years ago...

If it was anybody else, I'd let it go, but: Dreamgirls was just last year. (I can tell because whatshername only presented the Best Supporting Actor award like one hour ago. :-P)

I know. But it was the same issue as this year - one movie got 3 nods for best song and those songs split the vote. And since the gospel song just didn't have the attachment that the song from Once did...

Was only meant as a comparison/explanation as to why the big production number didn't win...

OK... so I'm behind because I was sick all weekend and only watched the Oscars yesterday afternoon. Which singer are you complaining about here? Glen Hansard from Once or the guy who did "So Close" from Enchanted?
