Back from the Kayser.  Despite losing our first three games in a comprehensive and really unpleasantly bad-team-dynamic-y fashion, we managed to win our next two and thus end up in the piped-on finals on Sunday, of all bizarre things (it was a six-sheet club, and we were in the sixth or F event, an event that can only exist at a six-sheet club and which we named the "Fuck-it-all Final", but which we won and got little Olympic-type medals on ribbons), so my streak (playing on Sunday in all bonspiels ever entered except one) continues.  All I have to say about that.

Home now and v. tired.  Chorus resumes tomorrow.  Sprint to the end of the curling season, I think.  Whew!

I am home-home with bonspiel crud. I'd hoped the sore throat was just from shouting myself hoarse at karaoke, but not so much.

(Note to self: just because they give you massive amounts of sick time doesn't mean you have to use it all. Stop getting sick, dammit.)
