shopping list of hopefulness

This is not the Wishful Thinking shopping list, but the Eventually A Bit At A Time shopping list.  viz:

• house (or condo)
  
• couch
  
• vacuum cleaner

Thing is, I have a vacuum cleaner; I just need a better one.  Ditto couch, although I will not really feel the need for better furniture until I buy a home.  So at the moment, my shopping will be confined to shoes and clothes and groceries.

That's a kind of lame post after so long a period of silence, but what can I say?  I'm coming off (touch wood) this head cold that I've had since, no shit, the New Year, and my place is kind of a mess, and it has to be fit to have visitors in it by Saturday evening, because my parents are getting tired of coming to visit me and not being allowed in my apartment.  Meantime, I shall finish watching Torchwood.
