and now it's time for taking-a-break west wing.

it's hard for me to articulate how much i adore CJ's dialogue. :-) i love the way they have this woman speak. gah. (yesterday i passed a car whose license plate said "CJ CRAIG". very cool, even if the character's last name is actually spelled 'cregg', i believe. maybe that was already taken.)

Yeah CJ is the only reason I tune into that show really... well CJ and the stuff between Donna and Josh...

I swear Allison Janney, Matthew Perry, Bradley Whitford, and Janel Moloney should all secede from West Wing (and I suppose Friends as well) and have some other show together where all they do is be erudite and snarky to each other...

that's where you and i differ, i guess. if donna and josh hook up, i will lead a mutiny the likes of which have never been seen in prime time viewership. (as long as they don't hook up, though, they're welcome to snark at each other all aaron wants.) and i really adore them all, although potus and leo need less effort to get on my nerves than anyone else.

but tonight's best line was easily "i'm the press secretary, boo-boo. i don't have that kind of time." [dies]

Oh god no... I don't want them to hook up... I mean that I like their repartee... I mean when CJ, Josh, Toby, et. al. are going at it, it's a contest of equals in terms of educational backgrounds, work experiences, etc... Whereas when Josh and Donna go at it, they are both bright people, but with unequal backgrounds, experiences, etc. and it's nice to see when Donna gets the upper-hand... at times I almost feel like Donna is the audience surrogate in the show... Not to mention having met Janel, she's just a really cool gal!
