indiana jones and the very brief review

1.  Marcus Brody portrait on the wall = win.

2.  Bunker full of crates = win.

3.  Later busting open of crate containing Ark of the Covenant = extra point, for those who didn't think the bunker itself was sufficient shout-out.

4.  Karen Allen looks fantastic, doesn't she?  sanj points out that she's fifteen or twenty years younger than the rest of them, which may be true, but that doesn't change that she's thirty years older than she was.

5.  Henry Jones, Jr. has a(t least one) Ph. fucking D., and it is for that reason that I absolutely refuse to believe he is unable correctly to pronounce the word NUCLEAR.

"Nukular" is one of the things that will lose anyone (yes, even Harrison fucking Ford) ten points in my estimation. Very very sad.

I was the only one in our group who caught Marcus's portrait on the wall. It quite distracted me from what else was going on in that scene. <3 Marcus!

What makes me really sad about the "nuclear" thing is that it's not just Harrison goddamn Ford, but everyone else on the fucking set, who let it happen. I mean, I get that there must have been people who felt they were too puny to say "erm, Mr. Ford, it's nu-cle-ar, sir." But there were enough other people around the place who shouldn't have been afraid of him. STEVEN SPIELBERG, WHY YOU GOT TO HURT ME LIKE THAT?
