dude.

BIG fucking storm just blew in.  I mean -- they said it was going to rain today, right, but this thing came in fast.

On the bright side, I suppose that means it will depart relatively quickly as well, and maybe the cable will come back on soon.

Yeah, I was out on my bike going to the grocery store and got home just before it opened up. You know how my backyard has a gently slope away from the house? Well the patio is flooded, even with the water draining... yikes!

Here's hoping it clears out by 5ish so that the Shakespeare Free For All isn't rained out.

My power flickered twice, but then the cable was back up very quickly -- and already the sky is a lot lighter and the trusty "one-mississippi" method of lightning-and-thunder counting suggests to me that the storm is now something like four or five miles away. In fifteen minutes. It looks like it's still raining, but the kind of rain I have to squint to see, unlike before where I just looked out the window and saw Grey.

Glad you weren't caught in it. That would have sucked.
