In very happy news, a cute skirt I only just saw at Loft last week was marked down more than 50% by today, so I now have a cute skirt.  :-)  And a dress I tried on weeks ago that had mostly disappeared, they had -- in fact, they had two in the store, neither in my size (and not even close).  I asked the girl to have her smart computer find out if any other area stores had one, because the website only had it in also-not-my-size last time I checked, and she said she didn't show any availability closer than, like, Dallas, and I said I guessed I didn't care that much, so I bought the skirt and went on my way.

But when I came home, I fired up the website, and miracle of miracles, this time the one size the website has available is my size!  So I ordered the thing on the spot, because it would be wrong to break the streak of good fortune I've been having lately, right?

(Except that, ahem, I should probably not just fling my credit card around willy-nilly.  Right.  Rest of the month, I shall be much more responsible.)
