it's sort of like Feast or Famine, only not.

I was stuck mid-draft for several days when my Jack Harkness voice was eluding me.

Now I've got that back, and I'm running into a wall trying to write a conversation between Ianto and Sarah Jane.

My life is so hard.  :-P

Crap, you're right. I am a bad friend! Will have it back to you by tomorrow afternoon, I promise.

I read your (now-heavily revised, you said) TW/SJA xover snippet at [livejournal.com profile] astolat's LJ and... I. Love. It. Your Sarah, your TW Team, your Maria and Alan...the wrong-shoe dropping with the whole team...

It's wonderful and I'm tremendously excited about seeing what it becomes in the revision. You give good Sarah Jane, and I've been full of adoration for her for 30 years. :-)

Heh. Thanks! I'm glad you liked that bit; it is very different now indeed (drat that Rusty!), but I hope you'll still enjoy it when it's ready. :-)

My favorite bit is Sarah yanking Jack away from the cluster, telling them not to bother the neighbours, and then demanding they move the (oh-so-undercover-and-subtle) SUV. It's just...SO Sarah in, "I don't like you" rude mode.

I'll look forward to seeing what this becomes (and I understand wanting to keep something in canon if possible).

You were so kind to pop in and tell me you liked my snippet; I wanted to let you know the (heavily revised, yes [g]) story is finished, and it's up beginning here (http://darthfox.livejournal.com/909349.html). Thanks for reading! :-)
