Put the end-table-file-cabinet on the other side of the couch, and put the files (sheet music and musical scores) in the file drawer. I will need another one of these at least, on account of I got rid of my plastic rolling file cabinets that I hated. I also put the folding chairs out of the way in one corner and the card table in another, and unearthed the "dining" table and put it with its chairs in the dining area. (I have a dining area, y'all!) AND I found my over-door hooks that I love and didn't really have a place for in the old apartment (I had them on the doors to the front closet, but those doors were too skinny and the hooks often dropped stuff on the floor) and put them on my front door, so I have room for three coats up there before I even start contemplating putting stuff on the wall.

Why am I chronicling all this? I have no idea. I don't imagine most of you are all that interested in the how and what of my setting up my new place. I suppose it makes me feel like I'm making progress, which is helpful at times when I feel like I'm not. :-P
