What I Have Accomplished Today, by Fox:
  1. Unpacked all the hangers
  2. Put away most of the clothes
  3. Got all the way to Home Depot --
    • -- and realized I'd come out without my wallet.
    • But I did figure out how to "pair" my phone with my car, Bluetooth-wise, so should anyone call me while I'm in the car I'll be all hands-free and stuff.  (And my mother's voice will be coming out of the speakers, which I imagine will take some getting used to ...)
    • And the AUX input for the iPod is way better than the FM transmitter used to be.  Yay!
  4. Came home and fetched my wallet.
  5. Went to Best Buy and bought a microwave.
  6. Went to Home Depot and got some little things -- screws and anchors, mounting tape, key caps.
I shall now order a pizza, because I am still in my Week of Eating Like a Person Whose Kitchen is in a State.

Crap, I meant to get picture hangers.  (And a light-switch-blocker thingie.)  Ah, well.  Tomorrow or at some future time.

I bet you're gonna love the Bluetooth in the car--I didn't know if I'd use it much, but it's the best thing ever. Although, yeah, when Matt's mother calls there's a certain amount of cringing.

Light-switch-blocker thingie?

My brother has a little plastic shell-thing he mounted on a light switch in his hallway, making it impossible to switch it off, because that switch controls an outlet in the bedroom which was the only place to plug in the alarm clocks. I've got two switched outlets in my living room, on the same switch (genius), and that's where I've got the router, so I'd like to put a switch-guard thing on it and leave the outlets on; I'll turn the lights on by hand.
