Going to the DMV in the morning, and I will bring my VA driver's license, my passport, and this phone bill and cable bill that just arrived to show I live at this address.

ellen_fremedon, when everyone was at the old place helping me pack, handing me my passport and saying "I'm going to give this to you right now, so it doesn't get buried in boxes of who knows what."
What I don't have a memory of is what I did with it next. [makes a face]
[eta: Found it. In the back pocket of my laptop case, which is a much more logical place than some of the random-shit boxes I had been looking in ...]
