never could get the hang of thursdays

I spent a fair amount of today (swigging cough syrup from the bottle and) thinking it was Wednesday.  Fortunately, I caught up with the calendar in time to remember that it is (a)Thursday and (b) datlowen's birthday.  Whee!

Oh, no doubt, this is the right way to get the days wrong. Tragically, this is just plain off-the-shelf cough syrup, not any kind of the Good Stuff. But I did have what may have been the Most Helpful Nap Ever, which I suppose is thanks to the cough syrup's clearing up my breathing enough to sleep. Yay?
