Distance from end of second sock: 20 rounds before I even begin decreasing for the toe.
Amount of yarn left: about five yards.
Sigh. That's what I get for trying to make a whole pair of socks with 225 yards of sport-weight yarn. My bad. I shall acquire some purple actual sock yarn, and think of something else to do with this sport-weight stuff, once I have frogged both socks and wound the yarn back up.
