My living room is (gasp) in a fit state.
The knitting will probably not be done in time (to leave finished pairs of socks for my brother and sister-in-law, who are staying here when they come to town for their friends' new year's party but not arriving until after I leave). I am coming to terms with this.
Couple of errands to do this afternoon. I am steeling myself for the task.
It took just about an hour, but I think all my New Years cards are written. One of the errands is the post office, now. I am considering this a triumph.
