Don't even have to go in for this afternoon's conference call. Admittedly, that's because they're dialing me in so I can take notes -- but if it keeps me on my couch, I'll take it.

God, I wish I could work from home, htough in the job I have now that isn't realistic, But even when I was a paralegal it was the same. Everyone is so backward here - they always thought if we worked from home (and from what I hear from office bound friends, it's still the prevailing attitude) that somehow people aren't going to work if they're at home. Sigh.

I love short conference calls. Of course, it's a little annoying when the reason is that the people who really needed to be there didn't bother to show up, but still. Short! \o/
