i say again: water chestnuts

At work, a meeting that I expected to be good was good, and a meeting that I expected to be excruciating was abbreviated and harmless. I missed the spring-like 70 degrees outside, and there aren't even any windows where I could have looked at it, but it apparently wasn't very sunny, so I didn't miss looking at much. Split in time to run a couple of errands on the way home. Leftover kung pao for dinner (no water chestnuts, though; that was in my lunch). Will try to do some Yiddish homework and then head up to curling for the (ugh) late draw.

My day was good! Torah study in the morning, class after that, tasty leftovers for lunch, assorted forms of work in the afternoon, and just now a really tasty meal of mushrooms over polenta and mustard greens cooked with homemade mustard. And now there is Tony Bourdain on our Tivo. So yay!
