a work rantlet that reveals nothing

I swear to god, am I the only person on this team who knows how to use a comma? (This is a sentence like "The salad had several ingredients, including, radishes, Romaine, carrots and tomatoes." You and I both know I'm going to shove an Oxford comma in after carrots, but be with me as I assure you that THAT'S NOT THE ISSUE THAT'S GOT ME FUMING.)

Makes me nuts, too, but I am given to understand that many schools are now teaching students to put commas where they would pause if saying the sentence out loud. *headdesk*
