twelve hours. TWELVE. HOURS.

esti626? -- finds it both amusing and a little distressing that a grown woman is wringing her hands in impatience over the last few hours before being permitted to buy a novel, as though she were four years old and not allowed down to open presents on christmas morning until her parents woke up. the remainder of my mind, however, is going twelve hours. only twelve! more! hours!)
between now and then, i have:
-- two more hours of class
-- a one-hour test
-- a rendez-vous at student health, both to get my allergy shots and confirm, for keeps now, that the ol' kidney trouble is finally behind me
-- to refill my allegra prescription
-- to talk to my mother, who's going to russia tomorrow morning
-- to shower, which i skipped this morning (tangent: what in the world is the past tense of "forego"?) in favor of sleeping until it was almost time to leave
-- to take a freakin' nap.
because, back to the inner five-year-old, now -- you know i'm going to get that damn book in my hand and come home and try to read it cover to cover before going to bed. i'm just that nuts. so between tonight and tomorrow, y'all might not see much of me. odds are i won't even answer the phone.
