i've been reported to abuse@yahoogroups! and given that hardly anything i said was even harsh, much less abusive -- i mean, yahoo didn't do anything for me the time i reported a member of one of my own lists for (a) hinting that she knew, or at least could find out, where i lived, and (b) saying (and i quote) "do not fuck with the big girls, you will get burned", so clearly their standards are pretty high -- i wish i could be there when they laughed in her face.

ahahahahahaha

Fox, you evil evil woman - I could use a minion like you, I really could. Fancy that - getting yourself reported to Yahoo! Now that's a frightening prospect - if they ever respond, it'll be an automated message that says "thanks for contacting us..."

Dare I hope the dear girl has been booted off MA?

i don't know if i can settle for Minion, dude. i might have to hold out for Trusted Lieutenant at the very least. [g]

she's been moderated. (she may also have left, for all i know, but if she hasn't, she's been sent to her room until she can appear decently in public.)

I thank god that I am mostly no mail on the list these days *G*. You were all very nice and conducted an actual discussion though; I was amazed that she took umbrage.

How about "Trusted Lt. and Chief Grammar Wrangler?"

I believe I have been too. Which is especially ironic considering she is annoyed that I sent a post to her own addy not to the list.

The nerve! Yahoogroups should obviously be responsible for any private e-mail that goes to anyone who's on one of their lists. *rolls eyes* And I wish she had answered your question; I *still* have no idea what the original challenge was getting at. Not that I'm going anywhere near the subject on-list.

Me neither.

It occured to me that being in the Yahoo complaints department must be quite amusing sometimes.

Fox, you handled yourself *beautifully*, despite the terror I'm sure you felt when she threatened you with the wrath of not only Peja, but Midnight Firemist (who I imagine has changeable violet eyes and a special rapport with animals).

She didn't.

Round the twist. Completely bonkers. There is no other description for it.

When she threatened me with that, I came straight back at her to say that, since she had a yahoo account, they could probably track everything that had gone on between us, private and public. All of a sudden she was buddy, buddy, let's put this all behind us. Which I was quite willing to do, because it was before she started going completely haywire onlist.

You must keep us updated if Yahoo ever comes back to you, Fox. We await your dismissal from the pristine Yahoo ranks with baited breath :)

I'm rather amused that, having started this thing, I have gotten away without the Ultimate Sanction. But then, all I wanted to do was have a discussion, anyway.

~hammers medal to Fox's chest~

Wear it with pride.

Damnit, I haven't had a chance to catch up the rest of the discussion, but I really must.
