i've been reported to abuse@yahoogroups! and given that hardly anything i said was even harsh, much less abusive -- i mean, yahoo didn't do anything for me the time i reported a member of one of my own lists for (a) hinting that she knew, or at least could find out, where i lived, and (b) saying (and i quote) "do not fuck with the big girls, you will get burned", so clearly their standards are pretty high -- i wish i could be there when they laughed in her face.

Dare I hope the dear girl has been booted off MA?

she's been moderated. (she may also have left, for all i know, but if she hasn't, she's been sent to her room until she can appear decently in public.)

It occured to me that being in the Yahoo complaints department must be quite amusing sometimes.

Round the twist. Completely bonkers. There is no other description for it.
When she threatened me with that, I came straight back at her to say that, since she had a yahoo account, they could probably track everything that had gone on between us, private and public. All of a sudden she was buddy, buddy, let's put this all behind us. Which I was quite willing to do, because it was before she started going completely haywire onlist.
You must keep us updated if Yahoo ever comes back to you, Fox. We await your dismissal from the pristine Yahoo ranks with baited breath :)
I'm rather amused that, having started this thing, I have gotten away without the Ultimate Sanction. But then, all I wanted to do was have a discussion, anyway.

Wear it with pride.
Damnit, I haven't had a chance to catch up the rest of the discussion, but I really must.
