i've been reported to abuse@yahoogroups! and given that hardly anything i said was even harsh, much less abusive -- i mean, yahoo didn't do anything for me the time i reported a member of one of my own lists for (a) hinting that she knew, or at least could find out, where i lived, and (b) saying (and i quote) "do not fuck with the big girls, you will get burned", so clearly their standards are pretty high -- i wish i could be there when they laughed in her face.

Fox, you handled yourself *beautifully*, despite the terror I'm sure you felt when she threatened you with the wrath of not only Peja, but Midnight Firemist (who I imagine has changeable violet eyes and a special rapport with animals).
