fox | thoughts from another viewing of Reboot

So I was putting away the Star Trek DVD, and reflecting that I guessed I was bummed it seemed the plain DVD had the movie and the commentary and the gag reel but I'd have had to get the Blu-Ray for the deleted scenes and whatnot; and then saw that the box said 2-disc blah blah blah, and went "!!!", and yeah, the other disc was hidden behind the insert, so all this time I haven't known it was there. /o\ So I put it in and watched most of the making-of stuff and the deleted scenes, and yay. And I have three thoughts:

1. How did I not know Eric Bana was Australian?

2. Nichelle Nichols just about made me cry, and she was on the screen for about forty seconds.

3. I love - love - how often the filmmaking team and the new cast refer to the original stars as "Mr. Shatner" and "Mr. Nimoy". Love it.
