at least it is no longer february. seriously.

I've had a headache on a line from my right eyebrow to the right side of the base of my skull for about a week and a half now. (It goes away, but it keeps coming back in exactly the same place.) I've also had occasional sinus-related symptoms whose details I will spare you. It's not a sinus infection, unless it's a new and interesting type I've never had before. I'm beginning to think it might be a good idea to call someone. But who has the time?

I'm prone to all kinds of headaches. For me, it's a combination tension headache (muscle tension, not stress, although stress, too) and low-grade migraine. I've had them before that lasted weeks, and the only thing I've ever been able to do is treat the symptom and wait out the cause. Couple of things to try:

1. Make sure you're well-hydrated.

2. Tylenol and about 12 ozs of regular Coke/Pepsi. It has to be the full caffeine and sugar version, though.

3. If all else fails, have a good, stiff drink before you go to bed.

If it's still hanging on after a week, call your doctor. I don't really bother because I've had them, and know it's nothing serious for me, but you might have a cause I don't.
