That. was. awful.
The tooth actually feels okay. A little bruisy, but I can tell it will feel better tomorrow-ish in a way the other solutions never really did fix it. But oh my god, my poor jaw, which already had issues over at the TMJ, let's not forget, hyperextended for two hours and occasionally extended even further when (e.g.) they'd press the temporary crown into place. The ache is something I have not known before. It took a few minutes before I stopped shaking, even once the work was done.
Four advil and some time with the heating pad later, and I'm able to think about something other than when it will stop hurting. (It still hurts, and opening my mouth wide enough to brush my teeth tonight will be interesting, but at least it's not all there is anymore.)
