also, star wars again
Something else I realized when talking to
ellen_fremedon about Star Wars the other day was - well, I've known for yonks that I couldn't really get behind Han/Luke, for hand-flaily reasons that can really only be articulated "but ... but ..." until you get to the point at and after the end of RotJ where you can't get Han and Luke together without erasing Leia. (There is one woman in this movie. One! CAN'T WE KEEP HER?!)
But that's later. Somehow I got my thinking around to, earlier, I think of Han as frankly an awful lot like sort of the inverse (converse?) of Jack Harkness - that is, I expect in his travels he'd quite cheerfully shag anyone and anything that would hold still long enough, and then given the choice of whom to settle down with, he'd pick a human female. (Well, he did, didn't he?)
Anyone who would care to write me a Star Wars/Torchwood crossover with Han and Jack in it is welcome to do so.
Everyone else: discuss? :-D
