just heard a tv ad for bend it like beckham on dvd -- in which the girl says "girls aren't supposed to play soccer."
i'm pretty sure one word i never heard in that movie was 'soccer'. does anyone know if they've messed with this shit for the dvd release?! or if they've only messed with it for the tv marketing? (i suppose if there's a "british" and a "us" version, amazon.ca would have the correct one, right?)
