i was just thinking how this is where john goodman is realizing that this isn't a job he wants at all -- and then (just after i'd opened this window, in fact, but before i'd started to type) they had to go and give him the line, and ruin it. damn them.

I think that I've decided I don't like West Wing anymore... I'm just sick and tired of them building up these big huge dramatic things and then just ending them... it's the television equivalent of a premature ejaculation... I mean 2 episodes and 50 minutes setting up this big huge thing and then WHAM! 10 minutes later it's completely resolved... I mean this insane... they did the same thing with the whole MS thing... all I hope is that the witty banter comes back with a vengeance...
