does anyone need to watch this much law & order?
The one that just ended was the one where they arrested the woman for her role in a cop-killing during a 60's anti-war protest. It originally aired in about 1995.
So they make a deal; the woman pleads to first-degree manslaughter, 8 1/3 to 25, her lawyer leads her from the office --
-- and McCoy says: "She'll be in jail until 2003."
And I think, Wow. That's right around the corner.
And McCoy continues: "I think the sixties ought to be over by then."
(and I get goosebumps.)
