Tough one, because "first" was a long time ago, you know? [scratches head] I think even as a kid I was smart enough to dig Han Solo, though. (Prequel answer: it's a trick question, because we went in with predispositions, those of us who knew from the HT already. Um ... so that'd be Ben Kenobi, I suppose.)

2. The character you never expected to love as much as you do now:
Wedge Antilles! Every time I see the movies, I love him more. (Prequel answer: Kenobi -- I liked Ben fine, in both solid and BlueGhost forms, but what was to love? But I've come to have more love and respect for prequel!Obi-Wan, poor flawed goof that he is -- there's a moment in Episode 2, where the dust clears after the battle scene and the camera cuts to him and he's on his knees checking someone's pulse. [loves])

3. The character everyone else loves that you don't:
Lando Calrissian. Assuming people like him. I don't like the betrayal -- sorry. Offering him the chance to redeem himself was too generous by half. (Prequel answer: Boba Fett. But I admit that this is kind of cheating, since it's grown-up!Boba I don't give a damn about.)

4. The character you love that everyone else hates:
I don't actually know who people hate in Star Wars. Apart from Jar-Jar, but everybody hates him, self included.

5. The character you used to love but don't any longer:
Luke. (Prequel answer: Yoda.)

The Sentinel
1. The first character you first fell in love with:
Blair.

2. The character you never expected to love as much as you do now:
Simon.

3. The character everyone else loves that you don't:
Rafe. (Just, what's the big deal?)

4. The character you love that everyone else hates:
Carolyn.

5. The character you used to love but don't any longer:
Naomi. I think I liked her for about ten minutes, and then she started to bug me. Like a lot.

Due South

Fraser.

2. The character you never expected to love as much as you do now:
Ray Vecchio.

3. The character everyone else loves that you don't:
I suppose I don't like Stella as much as some people do. But I don't know that "everyone else" loves her; and I don't actively dislike her.

4. The character you love that everyone else hates:
I don't think there's anyone in this fandom that everyone hates.

5. The character you used to love but don't any longer:
Maggie -- and it's not that I don't love her, just that I'm not as bananas about her as I was at first.

Harry Potter
1. The first character you first fell in love with:
Remus -- I read PoA first, when it first came out and my brother got it for Christmas. I'd been resisting the hype, but upon reading PoA I immediately went back and read the whole series (as it was at the time) from the beginning.

2. The character you never expected to love as much as you do now:
Neville. He keeps getting tougher and tougher, doesn't he?, bless him.

3. The character everyone else loves that you don't:
Hagrid.

4. The character you love that everyone else hates:
Sybill Trelawney. Bless! There's got to be something going on with her.

5. The character you used to love but don't any longer:
I was a lot less nuts about both Sirius and Dumbledore following OotP than I was before it, I'll tell you what.
