first-pass reactions to GoF

from [livejournal.com profile] cmshaw:  eee!  and, draco in crabbe's pants!  and, neville love.

from [livejournal.com profile] darthfox:  SO MUCH LOVE for everyone in the film over ... oh, about eighteen.  lots of love for the kids too, but more for the twinnies and all the adults.  also, HATRED IN MY HEART for the end title song.  GAH.  and, GAH.  and did i mention, GAH.  (C is petting me now, that's how much i hated it.)

(more than the 'double, double' thing in PoA, i hated it.  i mean, HATE.)

I HATED THE SONG A LOT.  HATED IT.

I loved everyone in it except Michael Gambon, who looked as if he was reading his lines off the furniture like in "The Generation Game".

what song?

[identity profile] darthfox.livejournal.com 2005-11-19 01:47 am (UTC)(link)
there was a song in the end credits, and it sucked. :-(

right, but what was the song? that's my question. :)

[identity profile] darthfox.livejournal.com 2005-11-19 01:53 am (UTC)(link)
it was a new song written for this purpose. not something recognizable from anywhere else -- just some purpose-built crap. it was awful.

oh blah. *deafness = bliss*

there was much mocking of the song. it was absolutely atrocious, and reminded us of titanic.

...I hear ya. I stayed until the end of the credits for that? Sheesh.

(And the "no dragons were harmed" disclaimer.)

Hm. There was a song? Tells you how much attention I pay to that stuff. Sorry to hear it was sucky.

But the "no dragons were harmed" disclaimer? Priceless.
