why was the saturday night audience quieter than the friday night audience?

nothing i really noticed tonight that i hadn't noticed last night, i think; but things i noticed and liked both times included, at the top of the list, the fact that at the leaving feast memorial service for cedric, the normally-enchanted ceiling was un-enchanted.  it was a simple manifestation of the value of unvarnished, unmasked truth:  this is what is here, not anything else.  as an added bonus, cmshaw points out, that means the sunlight coming in is not spell-generated, but genuine.
