whee, sci fi

Now I have Doctor Who on my television instead of on my hard drive!  Scruffy Doctor!  Scruffy Captain Jack!

I love when they don't shave.  ([livejournal.com profile] juice817:  "I remember that about you.")  (Heh.)

It's really weird to be able to turn on the TV and just watch it, isn't it? :))

And it's not like I have the mad-hi-def, but I can see details (like the scruffy) much clearer on the TV than on the laptop.

Of course, this wouldn't be an issue if I HAD THE DVDs. [glares at wishlist]

I do have a flatscreen HD, but SciFi doesn't broadcast in HD and Who isn't filmed for HD, so don't worry...you aren't missing anything! I was fortunate in that I could hook up my laptop to my TV so I was able to watch all but Last of the Time Lords that way (laptop broke).

And omg I am so ready for the DVDs I can't SEE STRAIGHT.

Jack chastising the Doctor saying "You're suppose to say 'Sorry'" is HILARIOUS.

As is Hermits United.

And the Doctor tossing Jack his coat as he goes by, just sort of by the way.

I am ready for the DVDs of Nine and TenS1, never mind of TenS2. GRARAR.

Also: SCRUFFY. Seriously, on my little computer screen I had no idea how unshaven they both were. (Sir Derek Off-His-Nut Jacobi can shave; I don't care. [g])

I LOVE the coat moment. I'm actually writing a post about Utopia righ tnow, kind of...second viewing thoughts, and that's one of the things I mentioned.

Oh man, I had those DVDs on preorder. It's so sad, my obsession.

I love the scruff too. Not too much. Just enough.

Want me to burn you (completely illegal) DVDs? I'd buy them for you, but, ouch.

Thank you, but, nah. I've got my contraband; I'll get the real DVDs sooner or later. :-)
