doctor who roundup
I've been a tiny bit jossed by the webcam-meetup of Jack and Sarah Jane, but I don't mind that much and I don't think my readers (once I actually, you know, write the damn thing) will either.
Of course Sarah Jane was not exterminated, and I'm going to go out on a limb and say neither were Ianto and Gwen, and if they were, they won't stay that way, and I kind of dug everyone being in touch with the doctor except Rose, actually, and I may have said before that it looks like Gareth David-Lloyd has been bulking up since the very beginning of Torchwood (I'm not wrong about that, right? he's bigger and more square-shaped than he was in "Everything Changes?", and perilously close to jowly? -- and that extreme closeup in the webcam did him no favors at all), and to go along with that, Billie Piper has lost weight since "Doomsday", and her face looks absolutely skeletal. The running toward each other through themeadow ruined streetscape was, meh, I can allow a nod to the Rose shippers, I suppose. I'm benevolent that way. Also, where is Martha? (Also, back earlier, Donna remembering loads of details about missing planets = WIN. Donna Noble = most capable modern companion y/y?)
But:
REGENERATION WHAT.
Longest week ever, coming up. That is all.

I've beenb wondering... when they did the running toward each other thing, we saw Rose see the Dalek so why didn't she shoot it. She had the a gun that destroyed them.

And, yes, Gareth David-Lloyd is bulkier, but he was photographed particularly poorly in this episode. Also, Rose looks so wrong to me now. In fact, at the beginning of the episode (or was it in last week's ep?) I wondered if they weren't trying to suggest that it really wasn't Rose at all.

God, I'm dying over the whole episode. What a totally shocking ending... Eeek!
