dudes. since safety pins aren't allowed on planes these days, i'm guessing an embroidery needle is also right out?

i don't cut the threads, so that's a non-issue. but the lack of a needle, now, that'd be a problem. :-)

I've been wondering that myself, really--you can use nail clippers to cut the thread if you have to, but the needle seems like it's off-limits, but it doesn't SAY so anywhere...and it totally goes through the metal detector unnoticed...and it's BLUNT, cause with cross stitching it's not like it needs to really pierce anything...and yet...
