That's the second sock; the second sock inside-out, to show why we weave in ends as we go so we don't get to where we're finished and then have this staring us in the face before it counts as being done (which I did, so no worries); and the accumulated ends trimmed off both socks.

Picture of both socks together will follow when I can get both of them in the same room, probably on [livejournal.com profile] ellen_fremedon's feet.  w00t!

Heh. I haven't thought of anything to do with the ends from the socks, but tying them together for a crazy scarf is one option. I'll need oodles of them, though, given that I'm working with sock yarn here. It'd be an itty-bitty scarf! :-)

I just save up all my scraps, no matter what weight. When I have two balls about as big as a softball I use two strands to make a scarf. Its pretty fun.
