I suspect it won't be long before I regret not having an electric kettle. Anyone care to recommend one I can easily get stateside? Crucially, it must not -- like the one at work -- boil and boil and boil but never click. Cordless is a bonus feature (unless it's a bonus feature on kettles these days the way it's a bonus feature on phones, in which case stop looking at me like that.)

by "cordless" they mean "only the base has a cord"; the kettle itself does not have a cord attached to it.
