among dried foods, yes. i also have butter and milk and crumpets and peanut butter and jelly and cereal bars and tea and sugar and hot chocolate and some potato chips and, like, apricots (which technically are also dried).
my sister-in-law introduced me to those (i'd heard of them, i mean, but never bothered to try them because i never needed them since i'd first seen them) that time when i thought i had a backache. the stick-on thingummy didn't work, but that wasn't surprising, since the backache turned out to be a kidney infection. :-)

unfortunately, M&Ms don't work for maggies, but they work great if you leave them in the freezer.
You can also use rock salt, but it doesn't work nearly so well.
