doctor who 4x08

WHAT.

Okay, I like Dr. Corday the first Mrs. Fiennes Alex Kingston and I'm fascinated by the timey-wimey stuff, although not sure why she's not in big trouble for crossing a time stream.

Every time we saw the little girl's dad, I felt cheated that it wasn't Alan Jackson.  (It would have been awesome if that little girl had been Maria y/n?  Apart, of course, from the fact that she has no name and probably doesn't exist except in the corner of a cell in a psych ward somewhere, cf. Buffy episode "Normal Again".)

I guess it would have been much too expensive to actually hire Laurence Fishburne to play Dr. Moon, so they got this guy instead.

And, of course, the minute Donna said (I don't remember if it was in the last episode or the one before) "I'll travel with you forever", it was a guarantee that "forever" wasn't going to be very long.  (Do any of these guys ever watch the show?)  But still.  WHAT.

In other news, I have been cleaning and reorganizing and ruthlessly throwing shit away today, and the result is that at the moment my apartment is ... well, it's controlled chaos, for the most part, but the bathroom is cleaner than it has been since I moved in.  Yay!  (Unfortunately, none of the random things I've been sorting through has been a spare belt for the one in my vacuum cleaner that just snapped, so my suspicion that I won't finish the job tonight is now a certainty.  Sigh.)

POintedly not loooking at the screen, so if there are typos, please forgive me. Just riddle me this, how much of a cliffhanger is it? Should I just wait and watch the two of them together?

On a scale of one to ten, yeah, it's cliffhangy. Steven Moffat, FCS. Better wait, I'd say. :-)
