it's not that i don't like daylight savings time --

-- but it's occasionally called "summer time"? and whatever it's called, the other sort of time is called "standard time"? and yet we're on "summer time" for seven months and "standard time" for only five. that seem a little kooky to anyone else?

the sinus headache seems to be gone (cure: two shots of nasonex, three advil, curl up whimpering in bed for an hour with hand over right eye; pain will go away twenty minutes after you decide none of this is working and give up), but i'm almost afraid to do anything -- put on a movie, pick up a book, drink anything at all -- in case it brings it back even worse.

in other news, i paid my rent. yay for getting it in half an hour (technically; eight and a half hours, practically; i suspect a whole day, this time, since tomorrow's sunday) before it's Really Due We're Not Kidding and they start demanding things like cashier's checks and late fees.
