bit of a lie down? turned into a three-hour nap (with very weird dreams in it -- carol burnett and julie andrews were tap-dancing; the cosby family came to my apartment while i was away and opened all the windows, so the humidity made the ink in my posters run and stain the wallpaper and the carpet and i told them they owed me money because i was going to lose my security deposit; while i was at the doctor, someone broke into my car, but it turned out to be just their getting-stuff-from-people's-cars guy who took a book and a couple of sodas when he'd only been sent to fetch my computer; someone went to popeye's or some such place and got a whole bucket of fried chicken and a dish of plum sauce to eat it with). i knew there was a reason i'd been planning to take some sudafed ...

i'm very pleased with the teaser for tonight's episode. and also? i like this new VP more and more every minute i see him. it was a nice choice they made to cast someone who looks an awful lot like tim matheson, first of all; but more importantly, this character is way smarter than he seems. if the writers manage not to screw this up, it could be really cool.
